Genshin Impact’s First Birthday Even Rained With Negative Comments, Play Store Ratings Drop

A popular game released by MiHoYo developer, Genshin Impact, is having its first birthday on September 28, 2021.

Over the past year, Genshin Impact has become one of its own phenomena among gamers.

No wonder that the number of players (called travelers) always increases every day.

Play Store Ratings Drop Genshin Impact

Even members of its community (HoYoLab) scattered from various countries around the world are also famous for being very active in questioning Genshin Impact.

To celebrate Genshin Impact’s first anniversary, miHoYo then released a promotional video uploaded to its official YouTube page @Genshin Impact.

In the video, several Genshin Impact characters have been released in the game over the past year. Call it Amber, Keqing, Ningguang, and Ganyu.

However, instead of getting praise or enthusiasm, the presence of the promotional video instead reaped a variety of negative comments from its players.

Not because of the quality of the promotional video. The players mostly protested due to events and rewards birthday editions that were considered unsatisfactory.

Especially considering Genshin Impact is one of the big games that are very popular around the world.

So far, the Genshin Impact anniversary event released by miHoYo is just ‘An Unforgettable Journey’ which allows players to get prizes in the form of 40 primogems, 30 thousand Mora, and so on.

The amount of the prize is considered less satisfying for travelers.

Especially about the primogems that are not even enough to do one pull gacha.

Various negative comments also resulted in a decrease in Genshin Impact rating on the Play Store.

Until September 29, 2021 at 10:19, Genshin Impact decreased its rating to 2.8 from the previous one that could reach 4.4.
