It seems like miHoYo has had a lot of fun hiding the rarest treasure chest in the game, especially since many of them require the player to complete some fairly random task to unlock them.
However, only thanks to the curiosity of some Genshin Impact players have we been able to uncover some of the game’s most hidden treasures. In fact, several fans have discovered that a Deluxe Chest has been hidden in the game’s starting area in Mondstadt. To help you find this rare chest, we have put together a quick guide.
How to find the Luxury Chest in Mondstadt on Genshin Impact
Mondstadt is one of the first zones players visit upon entering the world of Genshin Impact, so this chest can be incredibly easy to miss. This castle is home to the brave Knights of Favonius and it is here that each player embarks on their journey. Mondstadt serves as a hub for accepting Daily Commissions, sending characters on Expeditions, forging powerful weapons, purchasing supplies, and accepting various missions.
Although the castle itself is not that big, there are enough general characters and activities in and around it that can distract from discovering this well-hidden secret. While there are plenty of common and exquisite chests found atop windmills and castle turrets, you will need to pay extra attention if you wish to unlock the Deluxe Chest.
To discover the luxurious chest in Mondstadt, simply head to the churchyard. The courtyard is incredibly easy to locate, as it has a giant statue in the center, but if you can’t find it, head to the northwest section of the castle. Once in the courtyard, go to the courtyard stairs and find the shiny block shown above.
As you stand on this block, you should begin to notice that the rings begin to appear along the wall. Run through each ring until you reach the end of the wall. Once you have completed this task, you will be rewarded with a Deluxe Chest.
