The most common method of getting this information is through programs such as CPU-Z. However, there are native and much faster forms that do not require installing third-party software. In the tutorial below you will see how to do this by the Windows command prompt.
Step one. Use the WinKey + R key combination to open the Windows run tool. Then type ‘ cmd ‘ (without quotes) and press ENTER;
Step two. The command prompt will be opened. It’s a window with black background and white letters. In it type the following: wmic baseboard get product, Manufacturer, version, serialnumber. This is the instrumentation Command-line (WMIC) tool. It serves precisely to show the model of its motherboard;
Step three. See that in the ‘ Product ‘ column there is the model and its motherboard. In our case is a Gigabyte Z77X-D3H.
