Google has released the update for the app Camera 8.0 only for their own smartphones, line Pixel. Some programmers partnering with the XDA-Developers website managed to create a Mod, which brings Google’s features to other Android smartphones. This is a modification to the system and is not official. The user who installs does so at his own expense.
Google Camera 8.0 brings an improved layout, with a new user interface. In addition, it also adds cinematic panoramic mode and the Storage Saver option for some older Pixel devices.

Your smartphone’s camera will open with news of the update, once the download is complete. If your device has not been listed, it is because it has not been tested and does not have support for the Mod. Improper installation can cause problems with the system’s existing app, making it no longer work. For troubleshooting, look for the developer responsible for the mod.
