How to tell if your Mobile Number was Blocked – Finding out if your cell phone number has been blocked is something that may interest many users. If you try to call someone and after a while realize that all calls are dropped into the mailbox, that person may have blocked your smartphone number. Thus, your device is unable to make calls to it.

How to tell if your Mobile Number was Blocked

To help resolve this issue, Pc-Mind has prepared a list of three tips to find out if your phone number has been blocked by your friend. See the options below.

Call from another number

The most common way to find out if someone has blocked your number is by calling another cell phone. When you call a blocked number, the call goes directly to the mailbox and is not completed. However, if you can call the person who blocked you from another number, that means your phone is still working.

This way, it is quite likely that your number has been blocked, preventing you from making calls to that person. When doing this test, try to call from an unknown number. This ensures that the phone you are calling does not run the risk of being blocked.

Send a message to WhatsApp

Alternatively, if you do not want to borrow someone else’s phone number to make the call, send a message to WhatsApp to your friend. Since the blocking is only for SMS calls and torpedoes, if the person receives your message through the application, it means that the number is still activated. Soon, your cell phone was blocked by that person.

Now, if you also can not send a message through WhatsApp, there are two possibilities: either it blocked you in the messenger or its number, in fact, is not working.

Connect through other apps

As we reported in the previous topic, even with the number blocked, it is still possible to communicate with the person through third-party apps. However, since WhatsApp is one of the most popular applications in Brazil, if the person has blocked your number, it probably has also done the same in the messenger.

So another possibility is to make calls from third-party apps – which she may not have remembered to block. Here are some alternatives: Facebook Messenger, Hangouts, Skype, WeChat, Viber, Tango, and Line.
